IBM started this ministry by planting a church in 2010 in Coimbatore. It began spreading to
other parts of India: Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Karnataka, Manipur,
Meghalaya, and Nepal. We are working hard to extend the church planting all over India
and neighboring countries.
This ministry began with a small medical clinic on May 29, 2019, in Coimbatore. We reached out
to over thousand people with free medical treatment and the gospel. Due to maintenance
challenges, we moved it to Warangal, Telangana, in April of 2022. Several people are being
blessed by the free medical treatment and the gospel in this city. We are planning to increase
the medical facility to reach out to the several hundreds every month.
This ministry includes helping orphans, widows, children in poverty, the needy elderly, and
the persecuted Christians. During the Covid lockdown we helped several hundreds of individuals
and families with groceries and finances. We helped hundreds of persecuted Christians
(Kuki and Meitei) in Manipur with food, clothes, their basic needs, and finances in September
and December of 2023. We regularly help these people groups with their basic needs as we
also share the gospel with them.
We started Southern International Theological Seminary (online) on January 22, 2020, with 10
students who are
our church planters. Currently, because of the increased numbers of church planters from various
regions of India,
the medium of instruction is available in English, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Odia, and Nepali. The goal of
SITS is to equip
untrained church planters, pastors, preachers, teachers, evangelists, missionaries, and Christian
leaders with biblical
and sound theological knowledge. Since student enrollment from different regions increases each
semester, we plan to extend
the medium of instruction in more necessary languages. The degrees we offer are: Master of Biblical
Studies,
Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Ministry.
